The idea of PointPlay is born as I experience the pain of trying to explain to my students where their mistakes are – but they just don’t get it. Explaining their errors verbally is almost impossible, and even filming my students and explaining it with the video still creates confusion and questions.
I was desperate to find a better option!
Eventually I started doing manual video syncs and comparisons between my students and myself or a pro and that helped them tremendously. They would connect with my explanations and implement the changes almost immediately. So, I got the idea of an App that other coaches and players could use to electrify the improvement process. The player/coach would film themselves, then compare their swing to a pro, and then improve with drills and analysis.
Once I had the idea the next step was to test the solution and get feedback!
